It is not only organic quality that counts for us, but also a sustainable and responsible partnership with the local people. Our organic projects enable us to produce in a way that emphasizes craftsmanship, tradition and the protection of nature – for more organic in the world.
SUSTAINABLE ORGANIC FARMING AND FAIR PARTNERSHIPS
From the very beginning, our motivation was not only to sell organic products, but also to set positive impulses locally in the growing regions. This is how the idea of our organic projects was born: Agriculture that enables sustainable development through fair conditions, organic cultivation and education. The aim is to bring more organic produce into the world and at the same time strengthen the livelihoods of the people who grow and process our products with care.
A particular focus is on organizing small farmers into cooperatives. These not only promote a sense of community, but also help members to support each other. Cooperatives continue to develop, invest in jointly used tools and thus create added value for everyone involved.
To further support the farmers, we provide pre-financing, for example for the cashews in Togo, which receive a down payment in November before the harvest. This helps the farmers to remain financially stable and at the same time ensures the availability of our raw materials.
With our long-term cooperation, we offer our partners planning security, strengthen the cooperatives and promote stability in the regions. In this way, we combine ecological responsibility, social justice and economic stability in our project work.

Our project department is constantly on the lookout for committed cultivation partners who fit in with our portfolio and our values. Trust, close relationships and personal contacts are at the forefront of the selection process. We also ensure that social standards are adhered to and that the added value is distributed fairly. This is the only way we can guarantee the highest organic quality and fair conditions in the long term.
Support
We offer our cultivation partners targeted support exactly where it is needed. With comprehensive expertise, an extensive network and access to important resources, we help farms to meet the requirements of the EU Organic Regulation or even achieve higher organic standards. In this way, we help our partners to implement organic farming sustainably and successfully.
Working together
Our approach is based on partnership-based cooperation. We create stable and long-term relationships with our partners through direct purchasing of goods, regular exchanges and personal visits. This close contact ensures that our organic projects do not just exist on paper, but are sustainable and future-proof.
